The five-minute checkout pause

Five traps to clear before you pay.

A retailer can be a plausible match while a specific dress is still wrong for your size, deadline, return needs, or regular bra. Check the item, not the category promise.

Five plus-size formal dress checks before buying: exact size, garment chart, arrival date, return exclusions, and bra and sleeve reality
Save the list and clear every item on the exact product page.

1. Exact size and color

A published maximum size does not guarantee every style or color is available in it.

2. Garment chart

Compare current measurements to the exact chart. Do not translate from another brand's label.

3. Arrival date

Production plus transit is not the same as a dated arrival promise. Keep a try-on and alteration buffer.

4. Return exclusions

Find final-sale, custom-order, restocking, and return-window language before checkout.

5. Bra and sleeve reality

Inspect the neckline, back, straps, lining, and customer photos. A shrug is not a sleeve, and “supportive” is not the same as regular-bra friendly.
